Ciganski kotlet - Pork cutlet gypsy style

Svinjske kotlete uvaljati u začine po izboru (so, biber, ruzmarin, majčina dušica i slično), pržiti ih ili ispeći u rerni. Gotovo meso poređati u posudu za serviranje, pa preko toga staviti prženo povrće - šargarepu sečenu na rezance, veće komade paprike različitih boja, kolutove crnog luka, može se upotrebiti različito sezonsko povrće. Bitno je da se svaka vrsta povrća posebno proprži na jakoj vatri, malo posoljeno, uz minimalnu količinu ulja i neprekidno mešanje da ne bi zagorelo. Na kraju, preko povrća staviti proprženu slaninicu.
Ciganski kotlet servirati uz kocke krompira koje su kuvane 5-8 minuta a zatim zapečene u rerni, na malo ulja ili masti, da smekšaju i dobiju lepu koricu.

Sastojci: 4 svinjska kotleta, 2 šargarepe, 3-4 paprike (mogu i različitih boja), 2 glavice crnog luka, so, biber, peršun, majčina dušica, ruzmarin, ulje, 100-150g slaninice, 4-5 većih krompira.

Pork cutlets gypsy style

Season pork chops with spices upon your choice (salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme...) - pan fry or bake in the oven. When done, move cutlets into a serving dish, put some fried vegetables - carrots cut into stripes, red, yellow and green peppers cut into large chunks, onion cut into rings, you can use any other seasonal vegetables. It is important to fry each type of vegetables separately, with a splash of vegetable oil and some salt, stirring on high heat - be careful not to over-fry. Finally put few slices of crispy fried bacon over the vegetables.

Serve pork cutlets with baked potato cubes. Peel potatoes, cut into 2-3cm sized cubes and boil for 5-8 minutes. Strain, transfer into baking dish, add some oil or lard, bake until nice, golden and crispy on the outside.

Ingredients: 4 pork chops, 2 carrots, 3-4 peppers (red, yellow, green), 2 onions, salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, rosemary, oil, 100-150 g bacon, 4-5 large potatoes.
