Paprike punjene sirom - Cheese stuffed red peppers


Izabrati 10 lepih sočnih, duguljastih crvenih ili zelenih paprika, očistiti ih od semenki i oprati. Za fil, potrebno je izmrviti oko 500g punomasnog kravljeg (kozjeg ili ovčijeg) sira po izboru i izmešati sa 4 cela jaja. Probajte, pa ako je potrebno dodajte i malo soli. Ovim puniti paprike, poređati ih u podmazanu vatrostalnu činiju, naliti sa malo vode (nemojte preterati) i peći u rerni na 200 C. Kada paprike smekšaju i porumene, a skoro sva tečnost ispari - gotovo je.
Ova kombinacija je lagana, brzo se sprema i zgodna za leto.

Cheese stuffed red peppers

Take 10 nice juicy red or green peppers, cut the tops, discard the stems and scoop out the seeds, wash. Whisk 500g of full fat cheese (cow, goat or sheep's milk soft cheese) with 4 whole eggs. Taste it and add some salt if necessary. Stuff the peppers with this simple filling, arrange in a greased fireproof bowl, pour over some water (just to cover the bottom 1-2cm) and bake in the oven at 200C. When the peppers are well baked and almost all liquid evaporated - it's done.

This is a nice summer lunch - light and quick.
